The biggest feature of oil-free air compressors compared to traditional air compressors is that they do not require lubricating oil to lubricate the main engine. The lubrication methods for oil-free air compressors mainly include water lubrication, resin material lubrication, and dry oil-free. However, correspondingly, as oil-free air compressor technology is an advanced product in the industry, in order to achieve oil-free, many components of oil-free air compressors require higher manufacturing processes and materials than ordinary air compressors, which means that the price of oil-free air compressors is generally higher than that of ordinary oil injected air compressors.
Performance of oil-free air compressor
Taking screw air compressors as an example, the current oil-free screw air compressors generally have a power of 7.5-315 kilowatts, a displacement of 1 cubic meter to 50 cubic meters, and an exhaust pressure ranging from 0.3 bar to 40 bar, which can be said to cover most of the current industrial gas demand. In addition to screw type oil-free air compressors, oil-free centrifugal air compressors and oil-free vortex air compressors have also emerged as new types of oil-free air compressors in recent years. Among them, centrifugal air compressors have a larger displacement, while vortex air compressors, although having a smaller displacement, can achieve a high displacement pressure. The performance of these two oil-free air compressors complements that of screw type oil-free air compressors, thus meeting the gas needs of most users.

- Oil-free vortex air compressor
Compression equipment
The static and dynamic vortices of the oil-free vortex air compressor move in a small radius plane while maintaining a certain phase. The dynamic and static vortices mesh to form several pairs of crescent shaped closed compression chambers. The gas sucked into the working chamber is gradually compressed by the subsequently formed crescent shaped compression chamber, and then discharged from the exhaust port at the center of the static disk.
- Excellent durability
The vortex host has a simple structure, fewer components, and fewer vulnerable parts, greatly reducing the possibility of component replacement and possessing high durability. Robust structural design and high-quality air supply capacity can improve reliability.
- Save energy
According to the actual gas consumption during factory operation, different compression controls are formed and started/stopped in sequence to prevent power consumption caused by no-load operation.
- Low noise
Adopting a low-noise and low vibration vortex compression method and a low-noise machine structure based on noise/vibration analysis, it operates quietly and safely with the lowest noise level in the same class.
