Characteristics of fixed spiral air compressor

Principle of screw air compressor
Screw compressor is a positive displacement compressor with spiral rotation, and is currently one of the most widely used positive displacement compressors in the world. In the compressor body, a pair of helical rotors that mesh with each other are arranged in parallel. Those with thick tooth profiles are usually referred to as male rotors or male screws; Thin teeth are referred to as female rotors or female screws. Generally, the male rotor is connected to the prime mover, and the female rotor is driven to rotate by the male rotor. The ball bearings on the exhaust end of the rotor enable axial positioning of the rotor and withstand axial forces in the compressor. At both ends of the compressor body, holes of a certain shape and size are respectively opened. One for inhalation, called an inhalation port; Another one for exhaust is called the exhaust port. (Usually intake from above and exhaust from below).
The working cycle of a screw compressor can be divided into three processes: suction compression and exhaust. As the rotor rotates, each pair of meshing teeth completes the same working cycle one after another. The volume occupied by the gas sealed in the interdental volume decreases as the teeth move, resulting in an increase in pressure and the compression process of the gas. When the interdental volume is connected to the exhaust port, the exhaust process begins.
