1. What is air compressor lubricating oil
Air compressor oil is a liquid lubricant used in various types of machinery to reduce friction and protect the machinery and processed parts. It mainly serves to lubricate, cool, prevent rust, clean, seal and buffer. Air compressor oil accounts for 85% of all lubricating materials, with a wide variety of types and grades. The world’s annual consumption is approximately 38 million tons.

2.The function of lubricating oil for compresores de aire
Anti-friction and anti-wear: Reduce frictional resistance to save energy, minimize wear to extend the service life of machinery, and enhance economic benefits.
Cooling: It is required to expel the frictional heat from the machine at any time.
Sealing: It is required to prevent leakage, dust and gas leakage.
Cleaning and dispersion: It is required to clean and remove the dirt on the friction area.
Anti-corrosion and anti-rust It is required to protect the friction surface from oil deterioration or external erosion.
Kinetic energy transmission: Hydraulic system, remote control motor and friction stepless speed change.
Stress dispersion and buffering: distributing loads, mitigating impacts and reducing vibrations, etc.
3. The correct oil change steps for the compresor de aire are as follows:
The first step: Turn on the machine and run it to the normal temperature for one hour.
Step 2: Shut down the device
Step 3: Drain the oil from the oil tank, cooler and all filters;
Step 4: Add the newly replaced oil to the minimum oil volume required for operation (e.g., 1/2 volume);
Step 5: Turn on the machine and run it to the normal operating temperature for one hour. During this hour, open and close the exhaust valve every 15 minutes to allow the machine to circulate under the maximum pressure and minimum pressure valve Settings.
Step 6: Shut down the device
Step 7: Drain the oil from the cooler, oil tank and all filters;
Step 8: Add the newly replaced oil to half of the volume;
Step 9: Continue with Step 5;
Step 10: Shut down the device
Step 11: Drain the oil from the entire machine, including the cooler, oil tank and filter. If necessary, remove the pipe to remove the oil at the lower part. Clean the filter screen, replace the separator and all non-permanent oil filters. Check the situation where the imported filter is covered by contaminated oil and replace it appropriately as the situation requires.
Step 12: Add the recommended oil to be replaced until it reaches the minimum oil level required for operation.
Step 13: Turn on the machine and run it to the normal temperature for 15 minutes.
Step 14: Shut down the machine and drain the oil inside. Open the air filter and filter screen, but there is no need to replace them.
Step 15: Add the oil you recommended to the machine until it reaches the normal oil level.
Step 16: Restart the machine and pay attention to the oil level. When the machine is in operation, there will be approximately half of the oil in the observation window.
Step 17: Within 2 minutes after shutdown, the foam can disperse to the oil level and no oil flows out of the spillway valve.
